ARK is seeking an energetic Sales Manager for our busy hotel to lead a sales and marketing plan and drive revenue growth. You will solicit new and existing accounts through outside calls, on-site visits, and community networking, while researching local market trends to close business leads.

You will oversee relationships with group and catering accounts, represent the property at industry events, and ensure the department adheres to budget and strategy in partnership with the director of sales

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; high school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in sales management or sales leadership, hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
• Ability to develop sales and marketing plans and manage budgets.

Responsabilidades

• Increase new business and revenue via cold calling, on-site visits, and sales tours, and by engaging your local community network.
• Create and maintain connections with key group and catering accounts to grow market share.
• Represent the hotel at industry tradeshows and conferences, ensuring adherence to budget and marketing plans.
• Study local market trends and competitor activity to identify potential leads.
• Plan the department budget in line with hotel sales objectives with the support of the director of sales and marketing.

We’re looking for an active customer-focused team player with exceptional sales skills to be the next sales manager at our busy hotel. You’ll be in charge of developing a sales and marketing plan that includes soliciting new and existing accounts to meet and exceed revenue targets via outside sales calls, on-site visits and sales tours, and community networking. This energetic leader will be able to enhance revenue by researching local market trends and competition behavior to discover and close business leads.

Compensation:

60,000 - 65,000 + Benefits

Qualifications

• Stays organized and manage time well
• Must possess a high school diploma or GED and a bachelor’s degree in business or a similar major is desired
• This position requires previous work experience in a hospitality role
• At least 3 years of experience in sales management or in a leadership role in the sales department, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Understands how to communicate, negotiate, and network effectively

Responsibilities

• Increase new business and accelerate revenue generation by cold calling, on-site visits, and sales tours, as well as engaging your local community network
• Create and maintain connections with key group and catering accounts in order to keep and expand our market share
• Conduct yourself as a professional representative of the hotel at various industry tradeshows, conferences, and adhere to the guidelines of the budget and marketing plan
• Study and research local market trends and competitor activity to discover potential leads
• Plan and compile the department budget in accordance with the hotel's overall sales objectives and strategy, with the assistance of the director of sales and marketing
