About The Role
The role leads and scales a team of SDRs and account executives in a high-velocity B2B SaaS sales organization, owning quota for pipeline generation and team-sourced revenue.
You will build the coaching cadence, forecast rhythm, and hiring engine that turns activity metrics into predictable pipeline - reporting into the Director of Sales and partnering closely with marketing and revenue operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coach a team of 6-10 SDRs and AEs, running weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and call-cleaning sessions
- Own and hit team-level targets for qualified meetings, pipeline dollars, and source-to-close conversion
- Build and maintain accurate forecasts in Salesforce; report weekly on pipeline coverage, activity metrics, and win rates to leadership
- Recruit, onboard, and ramp new sales hires; develop playbooks and certification tracks that reduce time-to-productivity
- Partner with marketing to align outbound segments, messaging, and lead-routing rules; give direct feedback on lead quality and campaign performance
- Coach reps on discovery, objection handling, and multi-threading using tools like Outreach, Gong, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Identify and remove deal-level blockers, stepping in on executive conversations and strategic accounts when needed
What We Are Looking For
- 3-6 years of B2B SaaS sales experience, including 2+ years managing or mentoring a quota-carrying team
- Proven track record of hitting team quota and building predictable pipeline in a metrics-driven environment
- Hands-on expertise with Salesforce, sales engagement platforms (Outreach or Salesloft), and conversation intelligence tools (Gong or Chorus)
- Strong coaching instincts - able to diagnose skill gaps from call recordings and pipeline data and turn them into rep-level development plans
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management across sales, marketing, and revenue operations
- Bachelor's degree in business, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Bonus: Experience building a sales team from scratch in a Series B/C startup, MEDDIC or MEDDPICC methodology, and prior experience selling to technical buyers (DevOps, data, or security)
