This individual will take ownership of the region's sales performance, talent development, pipeline growth, forecasting accuracy, and overall execution of Milner's go-to-market strategy.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development
  • Demonstrate a lead-from-the-front leadership style, setting the standard for activity, professionalism, accountability, and execution.
  • Maintain an active, visible leadership presence in the office and throughout the market.
  • Be in the field daily, participating in prospecting activities, customer appointments, strategic account meetings, and sales presentations alongside the team.
  • Provide consistent, hands-on teaching, coaching, and mentoring to develop sales executives at every experience level.
  • Conduct regular ride-alongs, opportunity reviews, and real-time coaching to improve sales effectiveness and closing performance.

  • Drive a proactive, prospecting-first sales culture with an emphasis on consistent activity and new business development.
  • Personally participate in strategic sales opportunities, executive-level customer meetings, and complex negotiations.
  • Build and maintain a healthy, qualified sales pipeline that supports both short-term results and long-term growth objectives.
  • Ensure the team effectively positions Milner's complete technology portfolio, including Managed IT, Cybersecurity, Document Solutions, and Business Communications.
  • Identify new market opportunities, competitive advantages, and strategic relationships that accelerate growth.
  • Take ownership of achieving and exceeding regional revenue, profitability, and sales performance objectives.
Operational Excellence & Accountability
  • Establish a disciplined sales operating cadence built around daily activity, weekly pipeline reviews, forecasting, and measurable performance indicators.
  • Ensure consistent and accurate utilization of Salesforce CRM to manage opportunities, track activity, and maintain forecast integrity.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, identify gaps, and implement actionable improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with service, operations, marketing, and executive leadership to deliver an exceptional client experience.

  • Strong executive presence with the confidence and communication skills to engage senior-level decision-makers, business owners, and C-suite executives.

The Leadership Mindset We're Looking For

At Milner, leadership is not defined by a title. It is defined by actions, consistency, accountability, and the ability to elevate those around you.

We want a leader who:

  • Leads from the front, not from the sidelines.
  • Coaches in the field, not just in conference rooms.
  • Develops people, rather than simply managing numbers.
  • Creates opportunities, rather than waiting for them.
  • Sets the standard, rather than just communicating expectations.
  • Takes ownership, celebrates wins, addresses challenges, and drives results.

If you are a competitive, people-focused sales leader who thrives on developing talent, building teams, and winning in the marketplace, we want to hear from you.
