Responsibilities

Express is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join our team. The Sales Leader drives floor and stockroom operations, trains associates, and ensures an excellent in-store shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales
2. Provide coaching and training to store associates on operations, customer service, and standards
3. Partner with Store Management to give feedback on performance
4. Train associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures
5. Implement action plans to optimize results
6. Manage daily store operations
7. Ensure adequate associate coverage for a great customer experience
8. Oversee checkout and merchandise flow
9. Monitor customer service quality
10. Create effective schedules
11. Support a customer-focused environment
12. Resolve customer issues positively
13. Lead and model customer experience standards
14. Maintain product and policy knowledge
15. Assist with visual presentation and product launches
16. Perform other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Qualifications

1. High School diploma or equivalent
2. At least 1 year of experience
3. Proficiency with technology (iPad, registers)
4. Availability including nights, weekends, and non-business hours
5. Physical ability to perform job duties
