Responsibilities

Express is seeking a Retail Sales Leader to join our team. The Sales Leader drives operations on the sales floor and in the stockroom, assists in training associates, and delivers a great in-store shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist in developing and motivating associates to maximize sales potential.
2. Provide coaching and training to store associates for efficient operations and customer service.
3. Partner with Store Management to give feedback on associate performance.
4. Train associates on store operations, product, policies, and procedures.
5. Implement action plans to optimize results.
6. Manage daily store operations.
7. Ensure appropriate associate coverage for a great customer experience.
8. Oversee checkout and merchandise flow, including shipment and replenishment.
9. Monitor customer service quality.
10. Create effective schedules.
11. Promote an environment focused on excellent customer experiences.
12. Resolve customer issues positively.
13. Lead and model the customer experience standards.
14. Maintain expert knowledge of products and policies.
15. Assist with product launches, visual standards, signage, etc.

Minimum Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Proficiency with technology (iPad, registers).
• Availability for nights, weekends, and non-business hours.
• Physical capability to meet job demands.
