Job summary

West Marine is seeking a Sales Lead to supervise store operations and drive sales while delivering high-level customer service. This role guides Crew Members, ensures inventory integrity, and maintains a safe, organized store environment to meet annual goals.

As a Manager on Duty, you will train staff, handle transactions, and respond to customer needs with boating knowledge. Flexible scheduling includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• < 140 chars>
• Experience in retail leadership is preferred.
• Customer service and sales-focused mindset required.
• Ability to train and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to meet annual sales and contribution goals.
• Grow wholesale business and market share through planning and goal setting.
• Maintain store standards of display, safety, and service.
• Coach team on sales programs and procedures and drive add-on sales.
• Supervise front-end activities and customer transactions.
