Job summary

Visionworks is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding customers through eyewear decisions with knowledge of optics and services. You’ll drive the customer journey, train staff, and ensure accuracy in fitting and product knowledge.

You’ll engage patients, meet daily sales goals, and support store operations from merchandising to order fulfillment, with ABO certification as an option in lieu of experience.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not required.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent job experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continued training.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship.

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Leadis the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.
