Job summary

Chico's Sugar Land is seeking a Sales Lead to partner with store leadership, supervise the team, and promote a hospitality-driven shopping experience. You will coach teammates, ensure brand standards, and support opening/closing, cash handling, and inventory tasks.

You'll leverage product knowledge to drive sales, share brand priorities, and mentor staff to meet performance goals in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to develop strong customer and peer relationships.
• A team player mindset with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas with the store leadership team and contribute to a positive work environment.
