Job summary

Monrovia is seeking a Help Desk Craftsman to support our sales teams with data entry and administrative tasks. You will work in a fast-paced environment, handling order processing, pricing, and credit submissions while coordinating with the sales staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The role emphasizes strong Microsoft 365 Office skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks. You may occasionally assist with events and truck training as part of a dynamic nursery team.

Qualifications

• Experience with data entry and administrative tasks in a sales environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and perform light physical tasks.

• Assist inside and outside sales reps to ensure all administrative tasks in sales orders are processed quickly and accurately.
• Process orders, retail pricing and entering credit submissions.
• Submit purchase orders.
• Communicate clearly with the sales team regarding assigned tasks.

About The Role

We are seeking individuals to join our team working on our Help Desk. As a Help Desk Craftsman, you will support the sales teams with data entry and administrative tasks.

What You’ll Do

• You’ll assist the inside and outside sales reps to ensure all administrative tasks involved in sales orders are processed quickly and accurately.
• You’ll process orders, retail pricing and entering credit submissions.
• You’ll submit purchase orders.
• You’ll communicate clearly with the sales team regarding assigned tasks.
• You’ll provide event support as needed.
• You’ll provide truck training support.

Who You Are

• You are proficient in Microsoft 365 Office Suite programs including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• You demonstrate excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• You demonstrate competency in typing, editing, and creating written correspondence such as forms, emails, and letters.
• You have good math skills.
• You are able to audit your own work, prioritize, and complete multiple tasks with good follow-up.
• You are eager to learn.
• You’re able to maneuver around the office and nursery, work on a computer, utilizing specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, and work with a telephone, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• You are able to work Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 4pm; and Saturdays from 7:30am to 2:30pm on occasion during our busy spring season.
• You have a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record so you can drive around the nursery as needed.
• You’re able to maneuver around the office and nursery, work on a computer and with a telephone, and can lift up to 35 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
