Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. in Carrollton, TX seeks a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a clean, safe, well-stocked store.

You will coach associates, delegate tasks, manage daily operations, and ensure coverage to meet sales and service objectives. Responsibilities include greeting customers, clarifying needs, closing sales, training staff, and supporting merchandising decisions, with occasional MOD duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with retail experience.
• 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years total.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams (with or without direct reports).
• Experience supporting or participating in training, mentoring, and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of associates to deliver the best customer experience.
• Delegate daily tasks, follow up on operations, and ensure adequate department coverage.
• Greet customers, clarify needs, identify solutions, and close sales.
• Support merchandising decisions and input into down stocking/area recovery.
• Supervise store safety by conducting safety walks and reporting hazards.
• Occasionally open/close the store or serve as manager-on-duty (MOD).
