Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team in delivering outstanding customer service in-store. You will coach associates, manage tasks, and ensure coverage while focusing on safety and merchandising adherence.

You will interact with customers to clarify needs and provide solutions, while also supporting down stocking, inventory checks and area recovery as part of daily duties. Some travel to nearby stores may occur.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in a retail environment OR 5 years of experience in a retail environment.
• 1 year of experience in customer service.
• 1 year of experience supporting the unique needs of Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience providing direction or supervision to teams (with or without direct report responsibility).
• Experience supporting or participating in the process of training, mentoring and developing associates.
• Experience working cross-functionally.
• Experience Using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team to deliver the best possible customer experience in the store.
• Coach and train associates, delegate, follow-up on daily tasks, manage performance and ensure department coverage.
• Greet customers, clarify needs, identify solutions and close sales; manage safety and down stocking responsibilities.
