Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Sales Floor Department Supervisor to lead a team in delivering exceptional customer service in a busy store environment. Responsibilities include coaching staff, delegating daily tasks, and ensuring safe, efficient operations while supporting merchandising decisions.

The role requires strong communication, leadership experience in retail, and the ability to manage both customer-facing and back-of-house activities. Pro customer support experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of retail experience or 5 years of retail experience.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• 1 year of experience supporting Pro customers (for Pro Department Supervisor).
• Experience directing or supervising teams (with or without direct reports).
• Experience training, mentoring and developing associates.

Responsibilities

• Lead and enable a team of associates to deliver best customer experience.
• Coach and train associates; delegate tasks and monitor daily activities.
• Ensure department coverage; manage performance and safety in the store.
• Engage with customers to identify solutions and close sales; conduct safety walks.
