Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking an Area Supervisor to join our store leadership team. You will oversee a specific area of the store, manage daily operations, and supervise associates to maintain a welcoming, well-merchandised shopping environment.

You will open/close the store, ensure safety and loss prevention, and execute company processes while coaching staff to deliver excellent customer service and meet performance standards across merchandising, front-end operations, and administrative duties.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Prior Customer Service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale equipment and applications.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store and supervise Associates.
• Maintain proper merchandise presentation and a clean, well-organized storefront.
• Execute and supervise company operational processes as needed.
• Supervise Front End operations and ensure efficient checkout lines.
• Assist with inventory, stockroom cleanliness, and loss prevention.
• Provide coaching and development for staff to deliver strong customer service.
