Job summary

Goodwill Southern New England is seeking a Store Floor Manager to oversee daily operations, drive sales targets, and ensure exemplary customer and donor service on the sales floor. The role requires supervising store staff, maintaining merchandising standards, and managing cash handling under general supervision.

Responsibilities include scheduling, coaching, and ensuring compliance with safety and loss-prevention policies while maximizing efficiency and profitability in a retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED plus a minimum of one year related experience in sales floor supervisor, cashier supervisor, customer service management, or retail management.
• Language Skills section highlights reading, interpreting safety rules and writing routine reports.
• Sufficient knowledge of bookkeeping and basic store records; familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise store personnel and retail floor team to meet targets and standards.
• Monitor budgets, payroll, and daily operations to achieve financial goals.
• Ensure loss prevention, safety, and security procedures are followed.
• Provide training, coaching and performance feedback to staff.
• Ensure excellent customer service and smooth donor interactions on the floor.
• Coordinate staffing to meet customer and donor demand.
