Job summary

Goodwill Industries Southern New England Inc. seeks a Store Floor Manager to lead day-to-day operations, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer and donor experiences across the store floor and checkout areas.

You will supervise scheduling, merchandising, and promotions while maintaining safety and loss-prevention standards, coaching staff to meet performance targets. Weekend and holiday hours are typical in retail management roles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with at least 1 year of related retail management experience.
• Experience in sales floor supervision, cashier supervision or retail management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day store operations and ensure goals are met.
• Lead scheduling and staffing to meet customer/donor demand.
• Ensure customer and donor experience remains positive and efficient at cash registers and on the floor.
• Monitor inventory, pricing, displays and promotions to maximize sales.
• Enforce safety, security, and loss-prevention procedures.
• Coach and develop supervisory staff and team members.
