Sales Executive - Remote in TX or OK

Job Description

The Sales Executive develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to attract new groups within the Blue Plan market to attain member growth. This position leads the pharmacy sales process including the RFP process, contract negotiations, site visits, and follow-up meetings.

The clients for this position are in Texas and Oklahoma, with a preference for someone residing in either state.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Assistant Vice Presidents, Employer Account Directors, and the sales team to drive joint ASO sales and member growth for Prime and the assigned Plan(s), including regaining carved-out lives, winning new carve-in business, and assisting the account management team in retaining current business. Develop strategies to attain the business.
  • Lead prospecting activities with employer groups and consultants, manage pipeline development, and conduct post-bid discussions, maintaining reporting in Salesforce.
  • Forecast sales annually and quarterly, and meet quarterly sales requirements.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with sales and account management teams, ensure accurate pipeline status, and report in CRM.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the company, products, market, competition, and opportunities; communicate Prime's messages effectively to relevant teams.
  • Educate client sales, marketing, and account management teams on industry topics, new product developments, and the competitive landscape; provide sales collateral and support.
  • Coordinate with the VP of Employer Group Sales on message positioning, prospect development, and collateral needs.
  • Execute Go-to-Market meetings, review results, recommend product and service changes, and collaborate on plans with leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent; HS diploma or GED required.
  • 10 years of operational knowledge of PBM organizations.
  • 5 years of PBM or related sales experience.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Knowledge of managed care organizations.
  • Ability to evaluate opportunities, develop sales messages, presentations, and proposals.
  • Strong communication and relationship skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 4 years of implementation leadership within a PBM organization.
  • Experience selling to ASO Employer Groups.

Physical Demands
  • Travel up to 40%.
  • Constant sitting, handling, talking, and hearing.
  • Frequent reaching with hands and arms.

  • Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Potential pay ranges from $108,000 to $184,000, based on experience and skills.
