Sales Executive - Remote in TX or OK

Job Description

The Sales Executive develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to attract new groups within the Blue Plan market to attain member growth. This role leads the pharmacy sales process including RFPs, contract negotiations, site visits, and follow-up meetings. The clients for this position are located in Texas and Oklahoma, with a preference for candidates residing in either state.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and sales teams to drive joint sales and member growth, including regaining carved-out lives, winning new carve-in business, and supporting account retention by developing strategic plans for priority accounts.
  • Lead prospecting activities with employer groups and consultants, manage pipeline development, conduct post-bid discussions, and maintain reporting in Salesforce.
  • Forecast sales annually and quarterly, and meet sales targets and requirements.
  • Maintain relationships with sales and account management teams, ensuring accurate pipeline and sales reporting in CRM systems.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the company's products, services, market, competition, and opportunities; communicate Prime's key messages effectively.
  • Educate sales, marketing, and account teams on industry topics, new products, and competitive landscape; provide sales collateral and support.
  • Coordinate with leadership to develop messaging, prospecting efforts, and collateral needs; relay key messages to the team.
  • Conduct quarterly/bi-annual go-to-market meetings, review results, implement product and service changes, and provide market recommendations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field; HS diploma or GED required.
  • 10 years of operational experience in PBM organizations.
  • 5 years of PBM or related sales experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Knowledge of managed care organizations.
  • Strong ability to evaluate opportunities and develop effective sales messages and proposals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Experience leading PBM implementations.
  • Experience selling to ASO Employer Groups.
Physical Demands
  • Travel up to 40%.
  • Regular sitting, use of hands, talking, hearing; occasional standing, walking, stooping, lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Visual acuity for various vision needs.

All employees must adhere to security responsibilities, legal, regulatory, contractual, and internal policies.

Potential pay ranges from $108,000 to $184,000, based on experience and skills.
