Sales Executive - Remote in TX or OK

Job Description

The Sales Executive develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to attract new groups within the Blue Plan market to attain member growth. This role leads the pharmacy sales process including RFPs, contract negotiations, site visits, and follow-up meetings. Preference is given to candidates residing in Texas or Oklahoma.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and the sales team to drive joint sales and member growth, including regaining carved-out lives, winning new carve-in business, and supporting retention efforts.
  • Lead prospecting activities with employer groups and consultants, manage pipeline development, and conduct post-bid discussions, maintaining Salesforce reporting.
  • Forecast sales annually and quarterly, and meet sales targets.
  • Maintain relationships with sales and account management teams, ensuring accurate pipeline and sales reporting in CRM.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of company products, services, market landscape, and competitors; communicate key messages effectively.
  • Educate client teams on industry topics, new products, and market trends; provide collateral and sales support.
  • Coordinate with leadership to develop messaging, prospecting efforts, and collateral needs, relaying key messages to the team.
  • Conduct Go-to-Market meetings periodically, review results, and implement product/service changes in collaboration with leadership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in business or related field; HS diploma or GED required.
  • 10 years of operational experience in PBM organizations.
  • 5 years of PBM or related sales experience.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications
  • Knowledge of managed care organizations.
  • Strong ability to create opportunities and develop effective sales messages and proposals.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • MBA preferred; 4 years of implementation leadership within a PBM organization; experience selling to ASO employer groups.
Physical Demands
  • Travel up to 40%.
  • Ability to sit, handle, talk, hear, reach, stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds as needed.
  • Specific vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.

Salary range: $108,000 - $184,000 based on experience and skills.
