Job summary

FreightTAS LLC in South San Francisco, CA is seeking a Sales Executive for freight forwarding who will drive new business and manage a growing client base. The role is office-based five days per week and includes mileage reimbursement for client visits.

Visa sponsorship is not available; candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US. You will present the full suite of services—Ocean and Air freight, contract logistics, warehousing, trucking, cargo insurance, and customs brokerage—while

Qualifications

• 2–5 years' experience directly selling Ocean and/or Air freight services within a freight forwarder.
• International Freight Forwarding Experience a MUST
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Seek out new clients and build a book of business through prospecting and networking.
• Generate leads, secure new business, and grow customer base.
• Set and track sales targets, activity metrics, and KPIs.
• Meet the monthly revenue quota set by Sales Management.
• Understand Asia market and trends to tailor offerings.
• Present full-service offering: Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Contract Logistics, Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage.
• Maintain communication with internal teams and overseas offices.
• Travel locally for client meetings and presentations.
• Other assignments may be directed by Management.

Responsibilities

• Seek out new clients and build a book of business through prospecting and networking — cold calling, electronic media, seminars, trade shows, and in-person presentations
• Generate business leads internally and externally, secure new business and grow customer base, develop and maintain strong relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Set and track sales targets, activity metrics, and other necessary KPIs to drive performance
• Meet the monthly revenue quota set by Sales Management
• Understand Asia Market and deeply knowledgeable about needs and trends.
• Present the clients full-service offering: Ocean Import/Export, Air Import/Export, Contract Logistics and Warehousing, Trucking, Cargo Insurance, and Customs Brokerage
• Maintain communication with internal teams and with overseas offices
• Travel locally for client meetings and presentations
• Other assignments may be directed by the Management

Qualifications:

• AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Proficiency in English
• Bilingual or Asian language a PLUS but not required
• Excellent communication, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
• Solid understanding of the local territory and its market opportunities
• High emotional intelligence, personal integrity, and a hunter mentality
• Ability to travel locally to meet with clients
