Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson seeks a dynamic Sales & Operations Manager for the Flying V Restaurant. You will lead strategic sales initiatives, drive private dining and catering revenue, and ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Requires 3+ years in catering or event sales, hospitality, strong vendor management, and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Hotel or luxury dining experience preferred; salary potential includes bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in catering, event sales, or fine dining hospitality is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems is required.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
• Hotel or luxury restaurant experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and food pairings is preferred.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management is preferred.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue through strategic sales initiatives, including private dining, events, and promotional campaigns.
• Actively prospect and solicit new business for our event services, targeting group clients and corporate accounts.
• Site visits to support in converting Flying V business and respond to event inquiries.
• Negotiate event contracts, including Food & Beverage minimums and customized client requests.
• Collaborate with Culinary and Beverage teams to create catering menus aligned with client goals.
• Lead on-site during events, resolving issues and ensuring smooth operations.
• Maintain records of client communications and event details.
