Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson seeks a proactive Catering Sales Manager to lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to event execution, building strong client relationships and driving revenue. You will partner with the culinary and food & beverage teams to design memorable menus and deliver exceptional experiences for every client.

You will own lead generation, site visits, and promotions while collaborating with a dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales, event execution or related hospitality experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or Hospitality Management preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and guest service standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; Delphi experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk and lift 35+ pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to incoming leads and actively prospect for catering opportunities.
• Plan, coordinate and service all booked catering events with flawless execution.
• Conduct site visits and design experiences to convert prospects into clients.
• Collaborate with Directors to implement annual catering strategies and promotions.
• Partner with Culinary and F&B teams to create customized menus.
• Maintain and optimize third-party website presence in partnership with Brand/PR.
• Block space in Delphi to maximize revenue per property policies.
• Prepare and distribute BEOs, resumes, and other docs for operations.
• Schedule pre- and post-convention meetings and provide client support.
• Encourage rebooking through meetings and surveys.
