Job summary

Loews Ventana Canyon Resort in Tucson's Catalina Foothills is seeking a Restaurant Server to deliver exceptional table service and create a warm dining experience for guests.

You will greet guests, take and relay orders, ensure presentation, check back, process payments, and stay knowledgeable about menus. Prior hospitality experience and strong communication are required; POS familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Strong guest service and communication skills.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 40-50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and present menus with confidence.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including dietary preferences.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring quality and presentation.
• Check back with guests to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit.
• Process payments accurately using POS systems.
• Maintain thorough menu knowledge to offer recommendations.
• Communicate guest needs or special requests to the kitchen or bar.
• Keep tables and surrounding areas clean, tidy, and stocked.
• Assist with opening, closing, and restocking duties; support team members to ensure timely and coordinated service.
• Address guest concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Regular attendance in conformance with standards.
• May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.
• Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
