Job summary

Kolter Hospitality is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Sales Department by securing sleeping room blocks and catering/banquet services for small groups. You will handle blocks of 15 rooms or less, assist with rooming lists and block maintenance, and coordinate BEOs for events.

The role includes managing inquiries, preparing collateral for inspections, and supporting DOS with inventory, billing and networking activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or sales is a plus.
• Professional business attire required.
• Ability to stand/walk for up to 8 hours.

Responsibilities

• Sell meeting and banquet space, including one-day meetings and social events.
• Handle/contract social room blocks of 15 rooms or less.
• Enter group reservations, billing, routing and alerts; assist with rooming lists and block maintenance.
• Create, distribute and execute BEOs and Group Resume; assist with inventory in Prio and third-party extranets.
• Monitor phones, voicemails and the sales mailbox; prepare collateral for site inspections and sales trips.
• Attend outside networking events and support DOS and Sales Manager as needed.
• Oversee catering and banquet setups; ensure on-schedule food & beverage preparations and checks of room setups.
• Maintain inventory of office supplies and sales collateral; report repairs and safety issues as required.
