Job summary

OCI Hospitality seeks a Sales Coordinator to support the sales department and maintain client relationships with a focus on group details and ongoing communications for a seamless experience.

The role involves entering group room blocks, managing promotional materials, coordinating with guest services, and ensuring accurate billing for group functions. You will also handle tours, social media activity, and daily operations to drive group business.

Responsibilities

• Maintains positive and professional relationships with staff and clients.
• Enters group room blocks into the appropriate software.
• Maintains inventory of sales collateral and promotional materials.
• Executes Group Savvy Functions and maintains protocol at each property.
• Communicates check-in procedures and room assignments to guest services and management for groups.
• Follows up on definite contracts and reviews contracts.
• Acts as onsite contact for daily and weekly meeting room functions and group arrivals.
• Ensures timely billing procedures for meeting functions and group business.
• Gives tours and gathers information when supervisor is absent.
• Conducts day-to-day social media activities and content creation.
• Keeps up with competition, trends and market conditions to increase business.
• Answers phones professionally and directs calls appropriately.
• Enters and maintains group commissions and rebates.
• Submits brand reward points for planners and groups as assigned.
• Implements Group Resume two weeks out for hotel reviews at PMT meetings.
• Sends weekly group pickup information to hotel PMT.
• Completes all training and assists Sales team with administrative tasks.
• Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.
