Job summary

Power Design’s LFG Division seeks a Sales Engineer to bridge customers, engineering, and sales, crafting tailored switchgear solutions. You will engage consulting engineers, utilities, distributors, and owner/developers to deliver value-driven outcomes and solidify long-term partnerships.

You will review electrical schematics, offer optimized designs, and train customers and internal teams while supporting R&D initiatives for the LFG division. Travel 30–50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in technical sales or design engineering within power distribution.
• Solid knowledge of LV/MV switchgear, panels, and distribution systems.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent design tools.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel 30–50% to support engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sales efforts for switchgear from concept to execution.
• Partner with engineers, utilities, distributors, contractors, and owners.
• Review schematics and layouts to propose optimized designs.
• Provide training and design guidance to customers and teams.
• Support R&D and product development for the LFG division.
• Represent Power Design at industry events and technical seminars.
