Job summary

Silvus Technologies is looking for a Sales Engineer – Public Safety to provide technical support and develop tailored solutions. This role involves customer interaction, product demonstrations, and support for radio and mesh networking solutions. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering or similar experience and familiarity with RF instruments. The position is remote for those in the Washington Metropolitan area. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field with required experience in technical support.
• Proficiency with RF instruments and willingness to travel.
• Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning.
• Become an expert on Silvus radio and networking solutions.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customers.
• Visit customer sites for technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and provide feedback to the development team.

Skills

Proficiency with RF instruments

Proficiency with TCP/IP networking

Familiarity with Linux

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong organization and attention to detail

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field

High School Diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience

Tools

Signal generators

Spectrum analyzers

Programming languages (C/C++)
