Job summary

Ziegler Energy Solutions, a Ziegler company, seeks a Sales Engineer to lead technical sales for commercial, industrial, and utility-scale BESS, solar PV, and EV DCFC projects in Minnesota.

Based in Monticello or Dayton, the role partners with development, engineering, and EPC teams to identify opportunities, evaluate feasibility, and support turnkey as well as equipment-only engagements across our distributed energy portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; high school diploma accepted.
• 2+ years in technical sales, applications engineering, or project development in solar PV, BESS, or EV charging.
• Ability to interpret RFPs, technical specs, drawings, and interconnection documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical sales for C&I and utility-scale solar PV, BESS, and DCFC projects.
• Engage with customers, consultants, utilities, and EPC partners to shape design.
• Conduct site assessments, energy evaluations, and DER integration reviews.
• Interpret RFPs, bid specs, interconnection requirements, and drawings.
• Collaborate with development, engineering, project management, and procurement.
• Support integrated energy solutions across the portfolio.
