Ziegler Energy Solutions in Minnesota seeks a Senior Electrical Power Engineer to lead design and integration across BESS, Solar PV, and EV charging. You will provide field-ready engineering deliverables, support sales during scoping, and coordinate with contractors during construction and commissioning.

Required ABET degree and PE license, 4+ years in power distribution and DER integration, plus proficiency with ETAP, AutoCAD, and Revit.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BEE required with PE license.
• 4+ years in LV/MV power distribution and DER integration.
• Experience with utility interconnection processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design packages for BESS, Solar PV, and EV charging.
• Lead DCFC site design including load, transformer sizing, and distribution.
• Provide technical validation during pre-construction and during execution.
• Support field teams with RFIs and real-time design changes.
• Conduct protection studies and ensure system reliability.
