Job summary

Silvus Technologies, a subsidiary of Motorola Solutions, seeks a Sales Engineer for the Department of War (DoW) to support customers with tailored solutions. You'll work with Sales, Marketing, and Business Development to deliver demonstrations and field support, influencing product development.

The role requires traveling up to 50% of the time, interacting with customers, and reporting to the Director of Sales Engineering. Remote work is possible depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 6+ years with HS Diploma/GED.
• Proficiency with RF instruments such as signal generators and spectrum analyzers.
• Willingness to travel and work at customer sites.
• Security Clearance: Active U.S. Government SECRET clearance or ability to obtain within 15 months.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen due to clients under U.S. government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including system planning and training.
• Prepare and conduct product demonstrations for customer visits and equipment evaluations.
• Visit customer sites to provide technical support and training.
• Troubleshoot field failures and abnormalities and provide feedback to development team.
• Travel up to 50% for meetings, events, and demonstrations.
