Job summary

CMG is seeking a Sales Engineer to expand data services and API adoption. You will translate client workflows into technical demonstrations, support integrations with OMS/EMS, and collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering, and Product to grow revenue.

You will split time between expanding existing accounts and sourcing new data services opportunities, while building deep technical and commercial expertise in ECM datasets and analytics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in sales engineering, solutions engineering, technical account management, or similar client-facing role.
• Proficiency in Python and strong Excel; ability to analyze data and build prototypes.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases; APIs REST/GraphQL.
• Familiarity with OMS/EMS integrations; strong communication for technical/business audiences.
• Commercial mindset with team-selling experience; ownership across multiple accounts.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed quota within existing data services accounts and new opportunities.
• Identify upsell opportunities and new integrations across data services and API accounts.
• Support discovery, POC work, and client-specific analyses using Python, SQL, Excel.
• Guide onboarding, integration, and go-live including OMS/EMS integrations.
• Maintain client relations, surface product improvements, and contribute to pipeline reporting.
• Become a CMG data products expert and trusted ECM community member.
