Capital Markets Gateway LLC. (CMG) is seeking a Sales Engineer to join the Data Services team. You will expand CMG’s data services, understand client workflows, and drive adoption and monetization of CMG’s data products through technical demos and integration support.

You will partner with Sales, Customer Success, Engineering and Product to meet client needs, build proof-of-concept analyses, and grow revenue across existing accounts while sourcing new opportunities.

Formación

• 3+ years in sales engineering, solutions engineering, or other client-facing tech role, ideally in Fintech or financial data.
• Proficiency in Python and strong Excel skills with data modeling and prototyping abilities.
• Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data integration with external systems.
• Familiar with REST and GraphQL APIs and able to read docs and troubleshoot integrations.
• Experience with OMS/EMS integrations is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication with technical and business audiences; team selling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, CS, Engineering, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Meet and exceed quota for expansion within data services accounts and new opportunities.
• Lead expansion across data services and API accounts; identify upsell opportunities.
• Support discovery and PoC work using Python, SQL, and Excel for client demos.
• Guide onboarding, integration, and go-live with OMS/EMS integrations alongside CMG Engineers.
• Act as technical liaison, translating client requirements to Product/Engineering; support Customer Success materials.
• Record interactions and pipeline in CMG CRM; report account health.
