Job summary

Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a Sales Engineer to grow and manage customer accounts in industrial refrigeration and process cooling.

You will combine technical knowledge with strategic sales to deliver customer solutions from prospecting to project delivery. Collaborate with engineering teams to design, quote, and implement custom systems using natural refrigerants such as ammonia and CO₂.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to communicate technical concepts.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders from site staff to C-suite executives.
• CRM proficiency in HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar platforms.
• Effective project management, organizational, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods; lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex engineering concepts into actionable client solutions.
• Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to project delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design and quote custom solutions.
• Serve as trusted advisor and point of contact for assigned accounts.
• Align customer needs with product and service offerings.
• Coordinate service and product implementation with internal teams.
• Represent the company at trade shows and client meetings.
• Facilitate post-sale service and follow-through on deliverables.
• Support lead generation through cold calling, referrals, networking, and content marketing.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM (HubSpot/Salesforce).
