Job summary

1st St NW Technical Staffing is assisting an established engineering and manufacturing company in Minnesota in filling a Sales Engineer role. This direct-hire position offers base salary plus commission and competitive benefits.

You will prospect new accounts, gather project scope directly from customers, and collaborate with the engineering team to develop concepts and refine quote-ready scope. You’ll also communicate schedule, scope, and pricing changes to customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in a machine shop (CNC, mills, lathes) required.
• Experience in machining/fixturing environment required.
• Experience in the automation field required.
• Experience with capital equipment (cutting parts/tools) required.
• Ability to travel up to 30% (U.S. travel).
