Job summary

Albireo Energy, LLC in Tempe seeks a Sales Engineer to drive growth in the Arizona market. You will build relationships, identify opportunities, and develop Building Automation solutions for customers, contractors, and engineers.

This role blends sales instincts with technical aptitude, translating client needs into BAS designs, preparing proposals and estimates, and presenting capabilities while collaborating with operations for seamless project execution.

Qualifications

• Strong sales instincts and ability to build relationships and earn customer trust.
• Motivation to prospect, develop new business, and grow a territory.
• Ability to listen to customers, understand challenges, and communicate solutions effectively.
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn Building Automation and HVAC systems.
• Experience with owner-direct, design/build, or plan-and-spec projects is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with building owners, contractors, and engineers.
• Prospect for new customers and grow existing accounts.
• Meet with customers to understand needs and develop Building Automation solutions.
• Assist engineers and customers with design and application of BAS and controls.
• Review plans and develop project scopes and estimates.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, estimates, and presentations.
• Present capabilities and negotiate scope and pricing.
• Collaborate with operations for smooth project execution.
