Job summary

Browserbase is seeking a motivated Sales Engineer to join our growing technical sales team. You'll work closely with our Growth, Support, and Eng teams to drive technical adoption of our platform.

This highly technical product requires engineers with strong tech fundamentals and customer empathy, capable of delivering compelling demos, building POCs, and enabling customers to integrate with Browserbase's APIs and infrastructure in a fast-paced startup environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or similar.
• Strong technical background in web development, databases, or developer tools.
• Excellent communication, able to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Experience conducting product demos and technical presentations.
• Problem-solving mindset to understand customer challenges.
• Comfort with a fast-paced startup environment and ambiguity.
• Customer-centric approach and relationship-building.

Responsibilities

• Technical Guidance & Enablement: act as primary technical advisor for prospects and customers on onboarding, design, troubleshooting, and APIs.
• Close Deals: articulate technical value proposition and help customers finish.
• Build POCs: create proof-of-concepts and sample implementations.
• Sales <> Product: identify and document customer requirements and align with roadmap.
• Resources: create technical content including demo environments and reference architectures.
• Technical Team Member: stay current on industry trends and train the broader team.
