Job summary

GoodData Corporation in San Francisco is seeking a Sales Engineer to lead the technical side of US deals, running customer demos and technical conversations with CIOs and data leaders to move deals forward.

You will act as a strategic technical advisor, designing architectures and integrating AI capabilities into enterprise data stacks, while preparing and delivering depth workshops and proofs of concept.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a customer-facing technical role selling B2B data/AI solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex sales opportunities from discovery to close.
• Able to run live demos and present to C-level audiences.
• Strong analytical grounding in data, SQL, and cloud platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales cycle from discovery to close.
• Lead technical discovery of goals, data stack, and security criteria.
• Design tailored solutions merging data modeling and AI workflows.
• Deliver customized product demos and workshops for stakeholders.
• Support GTM initiatives with content and playbooks.
• Drive PoCs with clear success criteria and readouts.
• Coordinate with Account Executives on strategy and validation.
• Handle RFPs/RFIs and security questionnaires.
• Be GoodData's technical voice in the US at events.
