Kyocera International, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a results-driven Sales Engineer to drive technically informed sales of our advanced ceramic products for aerospace and semiconductor markets.

You will maintain strong customer relationships, support development activities, and coordinate with engineering, production, and quality teams to address customer needs. The ideal candidate has a BS in Material Science or Engineering, 3+ years in technical sales, and proficiency with MS Office and SAP

Qualifications

• 4 year degree, BS preferred in Material Science/Engineering/Technical.
• 3 years outside technical sales experience.
• Strong technical comprehension of drawings, materials and engineering terms.
• Proficient with Outlook & MS Office; basic SAP knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Meets monthly booking goals and annual sales plans within assigned accounts.
• Use technical engineering skills to generate new business and support product development.
• Manage customer interaction and relationship within own account base.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and management to address customer needs.
• Travel up to 50% for customer visits and trade shows.
