Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in sales engineering, technical sales, or a closely related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical distribution, UPS applications, or battery systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications, drawings, and bid documents to define the application, scope of supply, and technical requirements.
• Prepare accurate product quotations and bid packages, including pricing, lead times, scope, exclusions, and supporting documentation.
• Work with engineering to select suitable products, evaluate custom requirements, and prepare drawings, specifications, and submittal packages.
• Explain product capabilities and application considerations through customer presentations, meetings, calls, and written communication.
• Follow up on quotations, respond to customer questions, and support sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Review purchase orders against approved quotations and resolve scope, pricing, and delivery discrepancies before order handoff.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and service personnel to address technical questions and equipment issues.

Job Summary

The Sales Engineer supports customers in selecting and purchasing C&C Power’s electrical distribution, battery systems, battery monitoring, and related products. Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role translates customer requirements into accurate quotations and proposals, provides technical product support, and coordinates with engineering and operations from initial inquiry through order handoff and project follow-up.

Primary Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications, drawings, and bid documents to define the application, scope of supply, and technical requirements.
• Prepare accurate product quotations and bid packages, including pricing, lead times, scope, exclusions, and supporting documentation. Obtain required internal approval if needed before submitting proposals.
• Work with engineering to select suitable products, evaluate custom requirements, and prepare drawings, specifications, and submittal packages.
• Explain product capabilities and application considerations through customer presentations, meetings, calls, and written communication.
• Follow up on quotations, respond to customer questions, and support sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
• Review purchase orders against approved quotations and resolve scope, pricing, and delivery discrepancies before order handoff.

Technical Skills

• Working knowledge of AC and DC circuits, Ohm’s law, and electrical schematics; ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Ability to develop detailed quotations and communicate technical information clearly to customers and internal teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and ability to use company ERP and sales systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work effectively across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple quotations and projects, prioritize work, and meet deadlines with general supervision.

Experience and Education
