Description

Develops and maintains strong customer relationships with key customers and strategic accounts, understanding their evolving needs, and driving sales growth for the Data Center and Critical Power end markets. Leverages internal technical resources to develop and present quotes that achieve margin targets. Conducts business development activities to expand revenue and margin within assigned markets and customers and acquires new customers.

Job Responsibilities

  • Developsand implements effective sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and profit targets for higher volume and/or key account customers
  • Identifies and pursues new sales opportunities within existing accounts, and actively pursues new customers.
  • Prepares and presentsproposals to current and prospective customers, negotiates pricing, and closes deals to meet or exceed sales goals with limited sales leadership support
  • Visits customers and conducts manufacturing facility tours as needed.
  • Escalatesonly the most criticalinternal obstacles to management to ensure customer expectations are met.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and relevant account information in the company’s Customer Relationship Management system .
  • Provides regular reports on account performance, sales pipeline, and market trendstomanagement.
  • Analyzes sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and develops strategies to drive growth.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, which may include leading projects of varying scale or scope.

EducationalRequirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or business-related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.

Experience Requirements

  • Five years ofrelated professionalselling experience.
