Job summary

Gallagher is seeking a detail-oriented Sales Administrator to bolster business growth in Chicago. You will partner with Producers to identify opportunities, manage prospect data, and coordinate sales activities across departments.

Responsibilities include maintaining CRM databases, producing reports and dashboards, and supporting pre-sales efforts from research to proposal development. A Bachelor’s degree and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in sales support or business development.
• Experience handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills for data management and record-keeping.
• Analytical skills to interpret sales data and identify trends.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with CRM systems and sales tracking tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication across the organization.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and advance new business opportunities.
• Maintain prospect databases, CRM, and sales pipelines.
• Coordinate and track sales activities, follow-ups, and client engagement initiatives.
• Support Producers with pre-sales activities, market research, and proposal preparation.
• Develop reports, dashboards, and sales metrics to provide visibility into pipeline activity and performance.
• Collaborate across Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Client Services for seamless experiences.
• Ensure accurate documentation of sales activity, opportunities, and project progress.
• Assist with developing tools, resources, and processes to improve sales effectiveness.
