Steel Dynamics, Inc. seeks candidates for the Sales EDGE rotational program designed to prepare graduates for long-term careers in the commercial organization.

Trainees gain hands-on experience in sales, customer service, market analysis, and steel operations through structured training and placements across Steel Dynamics. Selected graduates will begin in June 2027, travel to Steel Dynamics locations and customer sites, and may transition into Inside Sales or Customer Service roles with growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively during the program.
• Ability to relocate or be placed at a Steel Dynamics location as needed.

Responsibilities

• Travel to Steel Dynamics mills, divisions, and customer locations to understand the steel industry and commercial operations.
• Build knowledge of products, processes, customers, and markets.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, operations, and cross-functional teams.
• Develop relationships with customers, team members, and leaders across the organization.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and business information to support decisions.
• Participate in training, mentorship, and job shadowing opportunities.
• Demonstrate independence, initiative, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete assigned projects to support development of commercial knowledge and readiness.
• Be open to placement within the Flat Roll or Long Products division based on needs.
