Responsibilities

• Travel to Steel Dynamics locations and customer sites to develop a broad understanding of the steel industry and our commercial operations.
• Build knowledge of Steel Dynamics' products, manufacturing processes, customers, and markets.
• Work alongside sales, customer service, operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Develop strong relationships with customers, team members, and leaders across the organization.
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and business information to support commercial decision-making.
• Participate in job shadowing, training, and mentorship opportunities with experienced industry professionals.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Complete assigned projects and other responsibilities that support the development of commercial knowledge and business readiness.
• Be open to placement within the Flat Roll or Long Products division based on business needs and available opportunities.
