Job summary

Danfoss Climate Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager for Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers in the Americas. Based around Louisville, KY, this role helps HVACR customers access energy-efficient heat transfer solutions and works with regional and global sales teams to grow current relationships and win new business.

You’ll lead Americas sales strategy, guide pricing and forecasting with OEM customers, and explore new channels while traveling up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; sales/marketing education is a plus.
• Minimum 5 years in heat transfer, with HVAC industry experience.
• Strong collaboration, self-motivation, and cross-cultural teamwork.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%.

The Impact You'll Make

At Danfoss Climate Solutions, you’ll help customers improve energy efficiency and move toward a more sustainable future by growing our Brazed Plate Heat Exchanger business across the Americas. Your work will directly support HVACR customers as they look for efficient, competitive heat-transfer solutions. As our Business Development Manager, Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers, you’ll connect market opportunities with Danfoss technologies, working alongside regional and global sales teams to grow existing customer relationships and develop new business. We prefer candidates near Louisville, KY; Baltimore, MD; or Tallahassee, FL, but remote work within the U.S. may be available for the right candidate. Relocation support is available.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and execute the Americas sales strategy for Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers, translating market opportunities into sustainable business growth.
• Partner with regional sales teams on heat exchanger selection, pricing, forecasting, and demand planning to deliver the right solutions for customers.
• Build and advance a pipeline of new opportunities with existing and prospective OEM customers across the HVACR market.
• Support customer negotiations and commercial agreements, helping sales teams turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.
• Expand our market reach by identifying new applications and sales channels in areas such as hydraulics, hydronics, and process industries while staying current on relevant technologies and competitive trends.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (technical or commercial education accepted). Sales and Marketing education on top of that is an advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience ideally in Heat Transfer area
• Experience in the HVAC industry required
• Self-motivated with excellent collaboration skills
• Ability to work with multiple cultures
• Ability to view problems from different perspectives and find customer-centric solutions

• Travel estimated to be up to 30%.
