Job summary

Total Wine & More in Miami is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to drive sales, lead a customer-focused team, and uphold a welcoming, knowledgeable store atmosphere.

You will assist in recruiting and developing staff, manage daily operations including payroll, inventory, and merchandising, and ensure compliance with alcohol regulations.

The role requires 1–3 years in retail with 2+ years in supervisory duties; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred. Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of work experience, 2+ years in a managerial or supervisory role in retail.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.
• Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics (KPMs).
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team.
• Support day-to-day operations including payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink.
• Deliver outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store and inventory objectives.
• Ensure adherence to alcohol laws and maintain a safe, compliant store.
