Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a Dispatcher to support the Sales Team, Service Technicians, Maintenance Technicians, and Installers by maintaining accurate data in systems and communicating with customers about scheduled calls and follow-ups.

You will plan routes for technicians, coordinate with Residential Sales Consultants, and keep the Dispatch Board updated to maximize capacity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years’ experience in customer service or another customer-facing environment.
• Experience using computers and related systems in an administrative office environment.
• Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers in a professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, diagnoses, and resolves customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Effectively communicates with customers to schedule service, maintenance, or sales calls and gather information.
• Call customers to remind them of upcoming appointments and inform them of changes in arrival times.
• Plan and route technicians to service calls based on availability, skills, location, and system data.
• Maintain capacity planner and fill appointment gaps to maximize utilization.
• Update Sales Dispatch Board and related modules in STARS as required.
• Respond promptly to technicians’ requests and represent the company professionally.
• Enter lead information and schedule sales calls in the relevant systems.
• Explain financing options and assist with financing forms as needed.
