Your Event Solutions (YES) offers a unique opportunity for sales professionals with a proven track record in B2B event sales, focusing on the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) market. We aim to build a team of ambitious, curious, and intelligent sales professionals dedicated to providing innovative ways for companies to engage, motivate, educate, and reward their teams.

The Sales Director will be responsible for generating new business with key prospects, selling the full spectrum of YES products and services to organizations within specific verticals or geographic areas to acquire new customers. This role involves managing and driving sales opportunities through strategic selling and effective negotiation to close deals.

Responsibilities
  1. Identify and qualify MICE opportunities using various resources such as CRM, LinkedIn, market research, industry events, and personal networks, ensuring accurate forecasting and resource management.
  2. Manage the entire sales process from lead identification and discovery to understanding client needs, presenting solutions, negotiating terms, and closing deals.
  3. Assess and qualify leads to ensure they align with organizational goals.
  4. Create customized proposals that meet prospect needs and outline future collaboration pathways.
  5. Participate in and deliver effective sales meetings and presentations via phone, internet, webinars, and face-to-face interactions.
  6. Advise customers on ROI using business drivers while presenting product sales.
  7. Negotiate pricing and contractual terms to finalize sales.
  8. Present YES products professionally and compellingly.
  9. Coordinate team selling efforts, leveraging resources such as operations, meetings management, marketing, and suppliers to secure sales.
  10. Maintain high productivity, manage multiple priorities, and work effectively under pressure in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Qualifications
  1. At least 5 years of sales experience in corporate events, incentives, professional meetings, or travel solutions targeting mid-market and large enterprise organizations.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  3. Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  4. Self-motivated, disciplined, and a proactive 'hunter' sales personality.
  5. Strong communication skills with the ability to influence diverse audiences.
  6. Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
  7. Problem-solving skills, curiosity, and focus.
  8. Ability to travel as needed.
