If you're an experienced sales leader passionate about improving access to life-changing therapies, this is your chance to make a real impact. We're hiring a Sales Director to lead a high-performing team focused on building strong provider relationships and driving growth across specialty pharmacy and rare disease markets.

This is a national role with frequent travel (50–70%) and a preference for candidates located near a major airport in the Central or Eastern U.S.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage and coach a team of account executives responsible for provider engagement and referral generation across select therapeutic areas.
  • Set clear sales targets and provide the tools and support needed to exceed them.
  • Drive strategic territory planning, call activity execution, and CRM optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with commercialization goals.
  • Lead by example with direct provider relationships and strong industry knowledge.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop top sales talent to maintain a high-performing, mission-aligned team.
  • Regularly conduct field visits (both in-person and virtual) to coach reps and observe performance in action.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and uphold the integrity of our organization in every customer interaction.

Who You Are

  • A strategic sales leader with at least 5 years in healthcare sales, including 3+ years in a management role.
  • Experienced in specialty pharmacy, rare disease, or biopharma sales—ideally with trade relations exposure.
  • Adept at building and leading teams with a people-first, results-driven mindset.
  • Skilled in managing complex provider relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Comfortable with data-driven sales planning and budget ownership.
  • Known for excellent communication, professionalism, and a passion for patient-centered care.
  • Based in the Midwest or Eastern U.S., with the flexibility to travel nationally as needed.
