We are inviting applications for the role of Assistant Vice President, Sales Director. In this role, you will be responsible for growing our business by pursuing new clients and managing the entire pursuit process from lead generation to contract signature.

Responsibilities
  1. Deal Origination: Responsible for growing our business with new clients across various industries.
  2. Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape. Utilize insights to shape business development strategies and approaches.
  3. Pipeline Management: Maintain a consistent pipeline of opportunities aligned with the organization's strategic focus.
  4. Proposal Development: Collaborate with Business Units, Data-Tech-AI Function, and Commercial/Pricing teams to craft compelling proposals that effectively communicate the value of our services to potential clients.
  5. Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements are reached. Close deals in a timely manner while meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
  6. Sales Management: Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, including pipeline updates, client interactions, and sales performance metrics. Provide regular reports to senior management.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
  • Based in the US, UK, or EU and open to relocating to these regions.
  • Experience in client-facing engagements and building relationships with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the services landscape focused on Finance & Accounting, Supply Chain, or Financial Services, including market trends, client needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Proficiency with technology tools, platforms, and systems, and understanding of AI concepts, applications, and technologies relevant to the industry.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings and sales activities.
  • For Europe-based candidates, proficiency in one or more regional languages (German, Dutch, Swedish, Italian, French).
Preferred Qualifications / Skills
  • Prior experience in sales and/or consulting at Genpact or similar organizations.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and digital sales management tools.

The approximate annual base salary range is $100,000 - $125,000, with actual compensation determined by experience, skills, location, and internal factors.
