Job Description: Sales Director – Travel, Transportation, and Hospitality

Overview:

Our client is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Director to join our team. This individual will leverage the company's services to achieve sales quotas across key areas such as Oracle Cloud Applications, Data and Analytics, and Managed Services. The ideal candidate is a true "hunter" with a proven track record of prospecting, building a strong sales funnel, and closing new logo business specifically within the Travel, Transportation, and Hospitality (TTH) industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Focus on the TTH industries, driving sales and market penetration.
  • Articulate the company's value proposition, showcasing benefits to customers through oral and written communication, including presentations and proposals.
  • Build a robust sales funnel by developing cold leads, expanding existing accounts, and networking with Oracle teams to uncover new opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas consistently.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with Oracle partners to accelerate sales within the TTH sector.
  • Attend sales training programs focused on sales techniques, technology, and presentation skills.
  • Develop internal business cases to ensure solutions are profitable.
  • Utilize the company's CRM to manage contacts, track opportunities, forecast, and generate reports.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of outside sales experience with consistent achievement of over 100% quota attainment.
  • Proven experience selling Oracle Cloud Services with a solid understanding of the product suite.
  • Success in translating customer goals into sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Experience building and growing partner relationships with Oracle.
  • BA/BS degree required; an Associate's Degree with 5+ years relevant experience is acceptable.
  • MBA is a plus.
