• Partner with operations and production teams to ensure customers receive quality, quantity, and service.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of sales team members.
• Create clear development plans to help team members grow in their roles.
• Set clear expectations, provide guidance, and empower team members to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Lead forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities that support effective business planning.
• Stay informed on construction activity across the territory and identify growth opportunities.
• Understand product specifications and recommend value-adding opportunities for customers and the business.
• Identify and communicate issues affecting product availability or customer commitments.
• Represent the Virginia business unit through industry committees, associations, and community relationships.
• Monitor market and competitor activity and recommend actions to remain competitive.
• Build trusted customer relationships by delivering quality products and dependable service.
